Juvenile Allegedly Robbed Of Money

Samuel Isaac Reyes, 36, Archbold, told police a juvenile involved in his ministry was robbed of $5 in cash and a cell phone charger by an unknown subject. The robbery allegedly took place at Reyes’ residence between 12:01-12:31 am, Friday, July 26. The incident was reported to police on Tuesday, July 30. Police are investigating.

Local Man Charged With Domestic Violence

Thomas W. Skiver, 30, 506 West Street, was arrested and charged with domestic violence stemming from a Wednesday, Aug. 7, incident. Tabbatha S. Downs, 28, 406 West Street, alleged Skiver had verbally threatened her over a telephone. There was a witness. Police obtained a warrant for Skiver. Welfare Check Reveals DOA

Archbold police officers performing a welfare check discovered a person who died at his residence. Police were called by Marsha Lee Ackerman, 44, of Woodbridge, Conn., about 3:54 pm, Tuesday, Aug. 13, and asked to check on Jeffrey E. Schmitt, 71, 202 Farmington Rd. Once at the residence, officer made entry through the unlocked front door and discovered Schmitt’s body. […]
