Baseball Diamond Cost More Than Estimated

The lone bid for the construction of the new baseball diamond in Memorial Park was more than estimated, but was still approved by Archbold Village Council. Council took the action at its Monday, May 6 meeting. Vernon Nagel, Inc., Napoleon, submitted a bid of $206,770 to grade the diamond to specifications.
