Crossing Closed

Norfolk Southern railroad crews closed the Defiance Street crossing, Saturday, Feb. 16, after an inspection of the rails discovered an internal defect in a section of rail in the southernmost track. Christy Motor Sales, an iconic Archbold auto dealership for decades, has been sold to a man who is a thirdgeneration car dealer. Couple Celebrates 50th Anniversary

Mike and Heidi Aeschliman, Archbold, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Mike Aeschliman and Heidi Yoder were married on Feb. 22, 1969, in Oregon. They have three children: Jake (Andria) Aeschliman, Archbold; Jody (Tom) Bray, Port Orange, Fla.; and Crystal (Don) Harper, Archbold. They have seven grandchildren.
