Railroad Crossings Blocked For 93 Minutes

An Archbold police report indicates a train blocked the railroad crossings at Defiance and Franklin streets Wednesday, Aug. 15. The report states the westbound Norfolk Southern train stopped at 4:22 pm, and remained stopped until 5:55 pm, or 93 minutes.

Township Trustees To Add Centerlines

The German Township Trustees decided to have new centerlines painted on some township roads at their Monday, Aug. 27 meeting. But they decided against added edge lines, due to cost.
