Benjamin Eggers, rural Archbold, received a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture during commencement exercises, Dec. 17, 2017, at The Ohio State University.
At or about 7:58 pm, Thursday, Feb. 22, the Archbold Police Department received notification of threats made against Archbold High School, according to a press release from Leo Wixom, police chief. An investigation was opened and investigating officers determined the threat to be valid. A suspect was arrested and is currently incarcerated. Jackson L. Rychener, age 75, passed away on Feb. 22, 2018 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice. Jackson was the son of Glen and Dorothy (Dominique) Rychener. He was born on Sept. 13, 1942, in Napoleon.
