Archbold ConAgra Plant Damaged

Damage from Sunday’s early afternoon thunderstorms has been reported at the Archbold ConAgra plant.  The Archbold Fire Department was called to the plant about 12:38 pm. Cheese (Puff) Head

Window Damaged



A representative of R&P Investments, Inc., Toledo, told police a window at the former Shopko store had been damaged. The damage was reported at 8:55 am, Thursday, Oct. 26. It is believed it occurred sometime after midnight, Saturday, Oct. 21. The Archbold police report states the damage “does not look malicious in nature.” The case was closed.

Unemployment Hits Low For Year



Unemployment in Fulton County for September was 4.1%, a new low for the year. Information from the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services indicates the estimated unemployment rate in August was 4.7% In September, the figure dropped six-tenths (0.6)%.
