Fraud Attempt Fails Oct. 5

An attempted scam against a 77-year-old Archbold woman failed, an Archbold police report states. Officers were contacted by a representative of the Archbold Huntington Bank branch, who reported the fraud attempt about 1:20 pm, Thursday, Oct. 5. Police spoke to the woman, who said she did not provide any personal information. The case is closed.
