A driverless mini-pickup truck made its way across a parking lot and struck another vehicle about 11:44 pm, Monday, Jan. 23. Charged For Bad Checks

Brandy M. Haynes, 35, Stryker, was issued a summons to appear in Western District Court on a charge of passing bad checks. The Archbold police report states Haynes allegedly issued an insufficient funds check to Archbold SuperValu on Nov. 20, 2016. The grocery store filed a complaint with Archbold police on Wednesday, Jan. 25.

Archbold Kindergarten Registration Dates

The Archbold school district has announced kindergarten registration dates for the 2017-18 school year. The school will register students who turn five years old by Aug. 1.
