AHS Girls Tennis Drops Two, Beats Rossford



Archbold lost matches to Napoleon and Springfield but defeated Rossford last week in girls tennis. The Streaks were blanked by Napoleon 5-0, Monday, Aug. 22, at AHS. Council Votes Moratorium On Medical Marijuana



Archbold Village Council voted to establish a six-month moratorium on medical marijuana in the village at the Monday, Aug. 29 council meeting. John Kasich, Ohio governor, signed a bill allowing marijuana for medical uses in June. The law becomes effective Thursday, Sept. 8. Archbold and Pettisville cross country teams ran in the Defiance Early Bird Cross Country Open, Saturday, Aug. 27. The PHS girls team finished second, while AHS took fifth.
