Area Woman Treated, Released After Mishap

Diane F. Nafziger, 66, rural Wauseon, was treated and released at the Fulton County Health Center after she was injured in a crash in the Central Mennonite Church parking lot about 11:36 am, Tuesday, March 15. A syringe was found in the men’s restroom at The Blue restaurant, Archbold, about 8:36 pm, Saturday, March 12, an Archbold police report states. An off-duty Fulton County sheriff deputy called police to the restaurant, where the syringe was spotted in the trash. Police seized the syringe as evidence. Fraud Cases

Two cases involving fraud were reported to Archbold police recently. Richard L. Wagler, 72, Archbold, told police that between Dec. 28, 2015, and March 9, someone opened several accounts with a bank and a credit card firm using Wagler’s identity.
