Rape Case From 1980s Reported

A person reported a rape that allegedly occurred 30 years ago to Archbold police on Thursday, June 11. Based on information, the incident occurred sometime around 1986. The report indicates the victim was about eight years old at the time. Police have declined prosecution.

Acme Baseball

The Archbold Acme baseball team improved to 7-1 with a 10-0 shutout of Liberty Center, Tuesday, June 16. Brandon Miller (1-0) was the winning pitcher. Theft Report

A representative of Ten Thousand Villages reported to Archbold police two bracelets, with a total value of $30, were taken from the store. The theft occurred sometime between noon and 5 pm, Tuesday, June 16, the store representative said. Police noted descriptions of possible suspects were given. The matter is marked closed.
