ConAgra Source Of Noise

A howling noise that many likened to the sound of a jet engine could be heard over much of the village late last week. A spokesman for ConAgra said Thursday plant workers were conducting boiler maintenance. As part of the maintenance, there were larger releases of steam than usual, which resulted in a louder noise.
