Sauders Celebrate 50th Anniversary



Myrl and Freida Sauder are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Myrl Sauder and Freida Gingerich were married Nov. 14, 1964, at Howard Miami Mennonite Church near Kokomo, Ind. They have three children: Nancy (Greg) Bontrager, Dan (Ezzie) Sauder, and Julie (Trevor) Crossgrove. They have 11 grandchildren. The couple will celebrate the occasion with family.

Radabaugh First Team All-NWOAL In Golf



Ian Radabaugh, an Archbold sophomore, was named First Team All-Northwest Ohio Athletic League in golf for the 2014 season. Brandon Miller, a freshman, and Elijah Miller, a junior, received honorable mentions. Trevor Dominique, Wauseon, was named Golfer of the Year. Mike Marshall, Wauseon, was named Coach of the Year.

Alicia Hernandez, an AHS junior, was named Second Team All-Ohio in girls soccer by the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association for the 2014 season. Gavin Morton, an AHS senior, was named Second Team All-Ohio in boys soccer. The All-Ohio teams were released yesterday, Tuesday.

Tinsman Receives Academic Honor



Chan Tinsman, AHS ‘12, was named a Sarah and James Bowdoin Scholar, Friday, Oct. 31, at Bowdoin College, Brunswick, Maine. Students who are designated Sarah and James Bowdoin Scholars are in the top (highest GPA) 20 percent of each class for the previous academic year.
