John Schoenhals, Archbold, began a six-month assignment in Honduras with Eastern Mennonite Missions (EMM) of Salunga, Pa., on Jan. 23, 2012. During his assignment, John will serve the children of a municipal dump community in La Ceiba, Honduras, through education and evangelism.

The Archbold municipal income tax brought in $348,389.65 during the first month of 2012, Archbold Village Council members learned at their Monday night, Feb. 6 meeting.
