Bank Reports Possible Fraudulent Checks

An Archbold police report filed Monday, April 11, indicates officials of the Farmers & Merchants State Bank informed police of possible forged checks. The report states someone attempted to cash two possibly fraudulent checks from a customer account sometime between Friday, April 8, and Monday, April 11. The case is under investigation.

The Archbold junior varsity softball team won two games last week, giving the Streaks a 4-2 record. Archbold hosted Wauseon, Tuesday, April 12. Archbold High School seniors are part of a long-running University of Michigan study of youth lifestyles. The study, known as “Monitoring the Future,” has been going on for 37 years.
