Martha Armstrong, activities director at the Fairlawn Haven retirement campus, said Fairlawn will again host the annual Heart Carnival from 7 pm to 8:30 pm, Thursday, Feb. 11. College Students must have a minimum 3.9 gpa to qualify. Darin Bontrager, Archbold, was named to the honor roll. Students must have a 3.5-3.89 gpa to qualify.

Minivan, Deer Collide Jan. 22



Michael E. Birkey, 45, rural Archbold, was involved in a crash when the minivan he was driving hit a deer about 5:44 am, Friday, Jan. 22. on Co. Rd. F, two-tenths of a mile west of Co. Rd. 25. The Fulton County Sheriff Department report states Birkey was driving east on Co. Rd. F when the collision occurred. No injuries.
