Alvin P. Harper, 53, Aurora, Colo., struck a bollard, Sunday, March 29. The Archbold police report said Harper was driving a truck owned by Core Carriers Corporation, Quincy, Ill., east on Stryker Street, and turned south on North Defiance Street. The trailer wheels struck the bollard. Harper was cited for violating rules of turning at intersections.
Quinn Nofziger, Pettisville, and Jordan Jaggers, Stryker, received honorable mention honors on the Division IV All- Ohio team for the 2008-09 boys basketball season.
