Walter E. Stamm, age 88 years, of Archbold, passed away early Friday morning, Nov. 21, 2008, at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home in Archbold. Survivors include his wife, Gladys; a son, George E., Defi- ance; two daughters, Judith Ann Horey, Greensboro, N.C., and Rebecca J. Miller, Sarasota, Fla.; a sister, Hazel M. Rychener, Mesa, Ariz., and formerly of Pettisville; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

A purse, which contained $30 in cash, has been stolen from Fairlawn Haven. The Archbold Police report on the theft states the purse was taken sometime between 11:30 am and 2:30 pm on Tuesday, Nov. 18. Vandals Do $500 Damage In Restroom



Archbold police officers are investigating vandalism that occurred in the Ruihley Park men’s restroom. Troy Double, an employee of the Parks and Recreation Department, reported that sometime between 3:30 pm, Wednesday, Nov. 19, and 10:30 am, Thursday, Nov. 20, someone damaged the restroom.
