Dominique Second Team All District



Selections for the Division III Northwest Ohio 2008 All-District baseball team have been completed. David Dominique was named Second Team All-District. Paxson Miller received an honorable mention. Both are juniors at Archbold High School. Ryan Radcliff, Fairview, is player of the year. Andy Singer, Fairview, is coach of the year.

12 Gold Softball



The 12 Gold softball team opened its season, Wednesday, June 4, by traveling to Napoleon. Both teams played well but Napoleon won 3-2. Sauder Village Golf Tournament A Great Success



Eighteen teams participated in the 11th annual “Tee it Up For Education” golf tournament, Saturday, June 7. AHS Softball Players Receive Honors



Several Archbold varsity softball players received postseason honors recently. Adi Lange, an outfielder, was named second team All-State in Division III. It is the second year she was named second team All-State. Lange and Stacy Wyse, also an outfielder, were named first team All-Northwest District. Morgan Ducey, catcher, and Lauren Kern, pitcher, received second team All-Northwest District.

Couple Celebrates 50th Anniversary



Marvin Lantz and Sharon Klopfenstein were married June 14, 1958, in Central Mennonite Church by Jesse Short, officiating minister. They have four children: Wanda (Bret) Stopher, Wendell (Dawn) Lantz, Marsha (Duane) Dowdy, and Tammy (Al) Riegsecker. They also have 16 grandchildren.
