Avina Advances To Regional



Brady Avina, a Pettisville freshman, advanced to this week’s Div. III track and field meet in Tiffin. She placed second in the 400 and was on the third-place 4×800 team with Rachel Beck, Chelsea Schmucker, and Tessa Yoder. The Div. Streak Softball Wins District



Archbold won a district softball championship for the 23rd time in school history, Thursday, May 22. The Streaks defeated Fairview 12-1 in the Division III district final at Lima Bath High School. The Archbold track teams ran away from the competition, Thursday, May 22 and Saturday, May 24 to win Division III district championships at Ayersville. Streaks Fall To Elmwood 5-2 In Div. III Regional Softball Semifinal

Honor Student



Jacquelyn R. Dunn, daughter of William and Mary, Archbold, has been named to the Ohio Northern University Dean’s List for the spring 2007-08 quarter. Dunn is a sophomore, majoring in nursing.

College Students Recognized By Honor Society



Several area students were recognized by Phi Theta Kappa at a recent program at Northwest State Community College. Phi Theta Kappa is a national honors program for community college students.
