Electric Substation Fence Damaged In Attempted Burglary

Archbold Police officers investigated an attempted breaking and entering at an electrical substation in the village. The police report states the attempt occurred sometime Thursday, Nov. 15. The suspect damaged a fence at the substation on E. Auction Farmland

Approximately 108 acres of Farmland in Franklin Township sold for $4,000 per acre in a Saturday, Nov. 17 auction conducted by Frey & Sons Realtors/ Auctioneers. The property, located near the intersection of Co. Rds. H and 20, was owned by the Gail S. Andre Trust, and sold to Merle and Marlene Beck, rural Pettisville.
