Residents Run In Columbus Marathon

Several residents from the Archbold area were among almost 10,000 runners who competed in the 28th annual Columbus Marathon and Half- Marathon, Sunday, Oct. 21. Tom Wagner, Pettisville, finished 3,034th in 4:50:17. Deb Nafziger, Archbold, was 3,263rd in 5:02:35. There were 3,744 who finished the 26.2 miles. Vehicle-Deer Crashes Increase In 2006

The number of collisions involving motor vehicles and deer increased by almost 40% in Fulton County from 2005 to 2006. Statistics from the Ohio Insurance Institute, an insurance industry trade association, indicate that in 2005, there were 219 vehicle-deer collisions in Fulton County. Two Archbold residents were among 16 persons indicted by the Fulton County Grand Jury. The grand jury met Monday, Oct. 15, and handed down indictments. Chad A.
