Chad Newman, 101 1/2 South Pleasant Street, told officers a pet rat, $10 in loose change, and other items were taken from his residence. Newman told officers the theft occurred between 12:30 pm and 11 pm Tuesday, Sept. 4. Martin Schmidt, Archbold Police chief said the incident is under investigation.
