Zelma E. Rupp, 88, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012, at Woodview Health Care Center, Fort Wayne, Ind.
Born inArchbold, Ohio, Zelma was the assistant manager of the Parkview Hospital Gift Shop for 10 years.
She was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, and a longtime member of Forest Park United Methodist Church, where she served on the board of trustees and was in charge of their Apple Dumpling fundraiser for many years.
She was an active volunteer with the American Red Cross, and Sertoma. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her daughter, Susan (Chris) Stauffer of Fort Wayne, Ind.; son, Mark (Chris) Rupp of Fort Wayne, Ind.; daughter, Nancy (E.E. John) Clark of Fort Wayne, Ind.; six grandsons; one granddaughter; 10 great- grandchildren; sister, Nola Short of Archbold, and longtime companion and friend, Bob Batchelder.
Zelma was preceded in death by parents, Samuel and Magdelana Aeschliman, husband Donald Rupp, and nine brothers and sisters.
A memorial service is 11 am, today, Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 4700 Vance Avenue, Fort Wayne, Ind., with Rev. Craig Duke officiating.
