Youth In Auto Mishap

Zachary P. Pursel, 16, rural Archbold, was involved in a one-vehicle accident in the 3000 block of Co. Rd. 21 at about 7:55 pm, Thursday, Nov. 25.

The Fulton County Sheriff Department report states Pursel was driving a car north on the county road when the auto went out of control. The vehicle went off the road, slid through a ditch, and struck a mailbox, telephone box, and a utility guy wire before coming to rest in a field.

A passenger in the auto was Kaitlin R. Nofziger, 16, rural Wauseon. No injuries.

––– Daniel E. Langenderfer, 24, Lyons, received a citation for a stop sign violation after a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Co. Rds. L and 18 about 10:30 pm, Saturday, Nov. 27.

The FCSD report states Langenderfer was driving a pickup truck east on Co. Rd. L, and stopped for a stop sign at the Co. Rd. 18 intersection.

The report states Langenderfer then drove into the intersection, where his pickup collided with a car driven by Andrea Bachman, 42, Wauseon, with passenger Mitch Bachman, 12, same address. No injuries.
