Woman Struck In Intersection

Sheila M. Stockburger, Archbold, told officers she was struck by a silver auto, possibly a sport utility, between 5:30 pm and 5:45 pm, Friday, Feb. 5.

Stockburger told officers she was walking west, crossing North Defiance Street at the Holland Street intersection, when the vehicle struck her, knocking her to the ground.

The driver, a male, got out of the vehicle and gave her his name and address, and suggested she go to the hospital, despite the fact she said she was not hurt.

Later, when interviewing Stockburger at Archbold Hospital, officers discovered the information provided by the driver was false.
