Sarah Mattoni, 28, Toledo, was sentenced to time served and was placed on three years supervised release after pleading guilty to embezzling money from the Farmers & Merchants State Bank.
She was indicted on a single count of embezzlement on Aug. 2, 2017, in United States District Court of Northern Ohio, Western District.
The indictment states between Jan. 1-March 31, 2017, Mattoni, while a teller at the F&M “with intent to defraud, willfully embezzled, purloined and misapplied the sum of approximately $8,000 from Farmers & Merchants.”
Mattoni was sentenced Monday, Feb. 5. In addition to time served and supervised release, she must make $8,872 in restitution.
