A sentence was handed down against a Wauseon woman in Fulton County Common Pleas Court, Thursday, Oct. 5:
Jesselin Schmidt, previously entered a guilty plea to a charge of grand theft. Scott Haselman, Fulton County prosecutor, said between Dec. 8, 2014, and Aug. 25, 2016, she stole property valued at more than $7,500 but less than $150,000. Schmidt was sentenced to seven days at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, with work release. She was placed on four years of community control, ordered to pay $16,452.50 in restitution to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, and attend behavioral therapy through Western District Court. Failure to abide by the conditions could result in an eight-month prison sentence.
