Woman Jumps From Window To Avoid Capture By Police

An Archbold police report indicated Rebecca Anne Krueger, also known as Lexi A. Hart, 20, East Gardens, jumped from a second-story window at the apartment complex, apparently to avoid capture.

Police were called to the East Gardens complex at 4:06 am, Saturday, Jan. 11, on a noise disturbance. The responding officer noted in his report that when he arrived, there were persons outside having a snowball fight. One person ran into one of the apartments before the officer could get out of his car.

The officer then went to the apartment where the noise was reported coming from, and spoke with subjects in that apartment.

“While attempting to identify everyone in the apartment, one person appeared to give me false information, and then jumped out a second story window, causing damage to the screens.

“Damage was estimated at $50.

“Rebecca Krueger was identified as the suspect later in the day, and was taken into custody on warrants out of Fulton and Henry counties.”

Krueger was arrested at 9:30 pm at the apartment referred to in the noise complaint, which was also listed as her residence.

Information from the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio states she is currently serving a sentence from Western District Court for failure to appear; the anticipated release date on that charge is Feb. 10.

She is also charged in Western District Court with obstructing official business, hampering or impeding a public official, and criminal damaging.

Krueger also faces a charge of violating community control sanctions from the Henry County Common Pleas Court.
