Woman Arrested On Warrants

Margarita Rodriguez, 26, Stryker, was arrested by Archbold police, Friday, Aug. 21, on warrants from Fulton and Henry counties, an Archbold police report said.

Officers went to apartment A at 402 South Defiance Street that evening.

Officers observed what they believed to be drug paraphernalia in plain view in the apartment.

The report said there were three individuals in the apartment. One became disorderly, using abusive language. That individual, identified as Rodriguez, was “uncooperative with our investigation.”

She was placed under arrest for the outstanding warrants and taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio. Police also seized several items of suspected drug paraphernalia from the apartment.

The other two persons were not charged.

Rodriguez appeared in Fulton County Western District Court via video from CCNO, Monday, Aug. 24, on a November 2011 charge of disorderly conduct. She pled guilty in April 2012.

At the Aug. 24 hearing, she was found in contempt of court and sentenced to 13 days in jail, with credit for four days served. Fine and costs of $529 were suspended.

In Henry County, a case involving one felony count each of receiving stolen property and complicity to commit forgery is still pending. Originally filed in 2013, a guilty plea was entered into Henry County Common Pleas Court records in August 2013, but there was never a sentencing hearing.

As of Friday, Sept. 4, Rodriguez was still being held at CCNO.
