Amanda E. Denudt, 29, Wauseon, was charged with criminal damaging after a Saturday, June 23 incident in Archbold.
Police were called to the 203 S. Lincoln Street home of Raymond W. Birtcher, 31, with a report of a woman breaking into the home at about 5:06 pm.
Birtcher told officers Denudt, who he identified as his ex-girlfriend, attempted to take his vehicle, but he managed to get the keys away from her. She then broke a bedroom window by punching it. Damage: $100.
Officers arrested Denudt and took her to the Fulton County Health Center, where she was treated for minor injuries.
She was then taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.
Denudt appeared in Western District Court Monday, June 25, where she was sentenced to three days in jail, with credit for time served. She was fined $100, and $83 in court costs, ordered to perform 30 hours community service, and make restitution. She also was placed on probation.
Police were called to Birtcher’s home again on Monday, June 25 at about 2:30 pm, on a report of an unwanted subject.
The police report does not identify the person, other than describing her as female.
The report states the person told police she was authorized to be at the residence, but officers were able to contact Birtcher, who said she was not.
She left the residence, as directed by police.
