Haley Sauder, AHS ’06, and Northwest State Community College graduate, was selected for a summer internship at Pepperdine University, Malibu, Calif.
Sauder is a pharmacology major at the University of Toledo, and is a resident assistant. She works in the science department, tutors, and is a supplemental instructor.
Having senior status at UT, Sauder is considering a premed option and was looking for opportunities to learn and work for the summer.
The Pepperdine University position involved an application process along with several phone interviews. Over 800 students around the nation applied for the brain cell research position, with only four being selected.
The research position includes her travel and living expenses for the summer.
She is the daughter of Jeff and Tana, Archbold.
