Nancy Zimmerman, who lives on West Lutz Road, Archbold, has a swing in her backyard gazebo with a permanent shelf next to it.
One day at the end of April she discovered a robin’s nest on the shelf. The next day one egg was in the nest, and the next day there was another.
She gave up her swing so “the robins could raise their family,” she said.
Two weeks later the eggs hatched.
A couple weeks later, the robins flew off.
She now has her swing back.
