Officials of WBCL, the Ft. Wayne, Ind. radio station, said last week they have purchased a radio station in Bronson, Mich. to add to their network of six stations.
WBCL constructed a 20,000- watt transmitter and 400-foot tower south of Archbold. The station, WBCY, went on the air in 1992. It was the first remote transmitter for WBCL.
WBCL now operates radio stations or less-powerful “translator” transmitters in Ft. Wayne, Archbold, Spencerville (1997), Muncie, Ind. (1997), Adrian, Mich. (2005), and Bronson, Mich., (2008)
The Bronson station began broadcasting WBCL programs 12:01 am, Thursday, April 10. _____________________________
