Vehicles Vandalized With Food, Reports Say

Two Archbold residents, both of whom recently moved to the community, received a very unwanted welcome when their vehicles were vandalized with food items.

Jenale M. Peck, 402 Pleasant Street, told police on Thursday morning, July 8, that sometime between 10 pm the previous day and 8:50 that morning, someone had put ketchup and mustard on her car while it was parked at her residence.

Valerie S. Rice, 404 Brussel St., told police at 6:45 am the same morning a pickup truck owned by Nicholas J. Rice, same address, was covered with condiments, cold cuts, and eggs while it was parked in front of her home. The damage was done sometime after 9 pm.

Peck and the Rices had been Archbold residents for about a week when the incidents occurred.
