A car failed to negotiate the turns in St. Rt. 66 south of Zone and struck a signpost, a Fulton County Sheriff Department report said.
Mary Lee Bailey, 61, Hudson, Mich., was driving a car north on the highway with passengers Tammy J. Blair, 37, and Rylan Presley Williams, 6, Fayette, at 6:03 pm, Sunday, Dec. 2, and failed to negotiate a right turn.
The Bailey vehicle went off the left, or north, side of the road and struck the sign, damaging the right side of her auto. No injuries.
There were several local vehicle-deer accidents reported. No human injuries.
•Friday, Nov. 30, 8:24 am: A pickup truck, driven by Michael K. Kempf, 41, Pettisville, was traveling north on Co. Rd. 14 and hit a deer four-tenths of a mile north of US20A. The deer bounced off the pickup and struck a southbound car, driven by Becky L. Myers, 54, Swanton.
•Saturday, Dec. 1, 6:33 pm: A car, driven by Joshua L. Rodriguez, 29, Fayette, with passenger Emily M. Rodriguez, 29, same address, was traveling south on St. Rt. 66 and hit a deer an eighth of a mile north of Co. Rd. J.
•Sunday, Dec. 2, 5:36 am: A pickup, driven by Stephen C. Minney, 56, Montpelier, was traveling east on US20A and hit a deer four-tenths of a mile west of Co. Rd. 25-2.
•Sunday, Dec. 2, 8:11 am: Marissa J. Blohm, 21, rural Delta, was driving a car west on St. Rt. 2 and hit a deer four-tenths of a mile west of Co. Rd. 21.
