Vehicle Stolen In Archbold Sept. 15 Found In Defiance

A car stolen from a Sauder Woodworking parking lot Monday, Sept. 15, has been recovered in Defiance, an Archbold Police department report indicates.

Sean P. Stover, Napoleon, told police he parked the car, a 1993 model, in the lot at 12:45 that afternoon. At 6:15 pm, he discovered the car was not where he had left it.

He and a friend began looking for the car in other Sauder Woodworking parking lots, thinking someone had played a practical joke on him.

However, when they were unable to find the vehicle, it was determined the car had been stolen.

The auto, valued at $500, contained two baseball gloves worth $100. The keys were in the vehicle.

Thom Ross, Archbold Police assistant chief, said the car was eventually recovered in Defiance.
