A two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Co. Rd. 24 and St. Rt. 2 on the west side of Archbold about 4:44 pm, Tuesday, Oct. 29, an Ohio State Highway Patrol report states.

The report states a car, driven by Angela Newman, 42, Defiance, was traveling south on Co. Rd. 24.

The OSHP report said Newman failed to yield the right of way, and she collided with an eastbound sport-utility vehicle, driven by Glenden L. Rupp, 81, Wauseon, with passenger Janet M. Rupp, 82, same address.

The two vehicles collided in the intersection. Rupp’s auto rolled over, coming to rest on its wheels.

Archbold Rescue re-sponded to the scene. The Rupps were taken to Fulton County Health Center with what the report called “minor suspected injuries.” Newman was not transported.

Newman was cited for failure to yield the right-ofway from a stop sign.
