Two Treated, Released After Auto Mishap

Aunalee Meister, 73, rural Napoleon, and Janet E. Hill, 69, rural Liberty Center, were treated and released at the Fulton County Health Center following a two-vehicle accident about 11:39 am, Wednesday, May 14.

They were taken to FCHC by private vehicle.

A third passenger in the auto, Lois L. Saul, 80, Napoleon, did not go to the FCHC emergency room.

The driver of the second vehicle, Ruth M. Weirauch, 74, Liberty Center, went to Henry County Hospital by private vehicle. No further information was available.

The Fulton County Sheriff Department report on the crash states Weirauch was traveling west on Co. Rd. C, and was stopped for the stop sign at Co. Rd. 19. The second car, driven by Meister, with two passengers, was following the Weirauch auto. The two vehicles collided.

Ryan M. Dietrich, 20, Archbold, was involved in a two-vehicle accident about 5:40 pm, Thursday, May 8, at the intersection of Co. Rds. 22 and F.

The FCSD report states Dietrich was traveling north on Co. Rd. 22; at the intersection, he started to turn left, went back to the right, then attempted to turn left and stopped.

A truck, driven by Scott D. Merillat, 51, Wauseon, was traveling north behind the Dietrich car. The two vehicles collided.

Deputies cited Dietrich for an improper turn-failure to use turn signal.

•Connie S. Bryan, 51, Fayette; struck deer 5:58 am, May 16, on Co. Rd. 23 two-tenths of a mile south of Co. Rd. J.

•Brad Alan Bowditch, 31, Waldron, Mich.; struck deer 6:01 am, May 22 on Co. Rd. 23, one-tenth of a mile north of Co. Rd. J.

•Marissa K. Teneyuque, 18, Delta; struck deer 7:56 pm, May 25 on St. Rt. 66, one-half mile north of Co. Rd. L.
