Two Treated, Released After Aug. 30 Crash

Two persons were treated and released at the Fulton County Health Center following a two-vehicle crash that occurred at the intersection of Co. Rds. 19 and A at 3:48 pm, Friday, Aug. 30.

Caleb Michael Halpin, 16, rural Delta, was driving a pickup truck east on Co. Rd. A, with passenger Andrew Dean Fry, 16, Lyons, and Kelsey Nicole Werner, 16, Swanton, riding as passengers.

At the same time Marlo A. Stevens, 42, rural Napoleon, was driving a car south on Co. Rd. 19.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol report states Halpin failed to yield at the stop sign at the T intersection, and the two vehicles collided.

Co. Rd. A is the divide between Fulton and Henry Counties. Initially, Henry County deputies and Ridgeville Rescue responded to the crash.

It was later determined the mishap occurred in Fulton County. Archbold Rescue transported both victims to FCHC.
