Two Pickups Collide May 5, One Flees

Two pickup trucks collided at the intersection of Co. Rds. C and 18, then one fled the scene, a report on filed with the Fulton County Sheriff Department states.

Nichole Marie Munger, 23, Archbold, was driving a pickup east on Co. Rd. C, Sunday, May 5.

A second truck, driven by an unknown person, was traveling north on Co. Rd. 18. The report states at about 2:01 pm, the northbound truck failed to stop for the stop sign and collided with the Munger truck.

The northbound truck then left the scene. No injuries.


Michael Eugene Leahy, 35, Morenci, Mich., received a citation for failure to control following a one-vehicle accident in the 6000 block of Co. Rd. 19 about 9:12 am, Friday, May 3.

The FCSD report states Leahy was driving a truck south on the county road when the vehicle went off the right side of the road and struck a tree. No injuries.


A two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Main and Summit streets in Pettisville at 5 pm, Thursday, April 25.

Connor Tuckerman, 17, rural Wauseon, was driving a pickup truck west on Summit Street, and was stopped at the Main Street intersection.

Main Street is also Co. Rd. 19.

A second vehicle, driven by Jacob Matthew Reyes, 18, rural Wauseon, was traveling west on Summit, and collided with the Tuckerman pickup. No citation was issued.

No injuries.
