Two Pettisville eighth grade students have received regional-level gold keys in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Program.
Rylee Beltz received a gold key for her short story, “Suffocation” and honorable mentions for her two entries in the poetry category, “Broken Poets” and “Anguished.”
Renee Hoylman earned a gold key award for her Science Fiction-Fantasy entry, “The Kidnapping Game.”
As gold key winners, Beltz and Hoylman will have their works judged on the national level.
