Two Persons Sentenced

Two persons were sentenced in Fulton County Common Pleas Court, Thursday and Friday, March 4-5:

•Michael C. Osborne, 49, Wauseon; indicted June 15, 2020, on two counts, aggravated possession of drugs, and one count each, counterfeiting and theft; entered guilty pleas Feb. 2 to one count each, aggravated possession of drugs, theft, and counterfeiting; he possessed methamphetamine and counterfeit currency; sentenced, Friday, March 5, to 11 months in prison each for theft and counterfeiting, to run concurrently; sentenced to 15 months in prison on counterfeiting, to be served consecutively to the other two, for a total prison term of 26 months.

•Ruta Stravinskaite, 37, Schaumburg, Ill.; indicted Dec. 21, 2020, on one count, failure to comply with order or signal of a police officer; entered guilty plea to charge Feb. 9; willfully operated a motor vehicle to elude or flee a police officer, after receiving a visible or audible signal to bring vehicle to a stop; sentenced Thursday, March 4, to two years community control; ordered to pay cost of prosecution, court-appointed attorney fees, stay out of bars/taverns, not to possess or consume alcohol, complete dual-diagnosis assessment, complete any recommended treatment, serve 98 days at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, credit for days served. Failure to comply could result in 12-month prison sentence.
