Two Persons Sentenced

Two people were sentenced recently in Fulton County Common Pleas Court:

•Kimberly Scaffe, 36, Petersburg, Mich.; indicted Sept. 17, 2018, on two counts, theft of drugs; found guilty on both charges in a four-day jury trial, April 4-8; on June 28, 2017, July 2-3, 2017, she stole the prescription painkiller Percocet from nursing home residents; sentenced Thursday, May 30, to nine months in prison on each count, to be served concurrently, for a total prison term of nine months.

•Jacob Ames, 31, Bryan; indicted Oct. 15, 2018, on one count each, receiving stolen property, theft from a person in a protected class, and three counts, theft; entered guilty pleas April 12 to one count, receiving stolen property, a felony, and two counts, theft, each misdemeanors; on Sept. 19, 2018, was in possession of a stolen motor vehicle; on Sept. 27, 2018, he stole coins out of two vehicles; sentenced Wednesday, May 29, to 10 months for receiving stolen property and 180 days at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio for each count of theft, to be served concurrently, for a total prison term of 10 months.
