Two Persons Sentenced

A Hamburg, Pa., woman was sentenced on a drug-related charge in Fulton County Common Pleas Court, Tuesday, Jan. 9:

•Emily Cooper, 31; indicted Dec. 18, 2017, on a single count of possession of cocaine; entered guilty plea to charge; on Dec. 6, 2017, she possessed cocaine; sentenced to seven days at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, credit for time served; placed on one year community control; ordered to pay cost of prosecution, $500 fine, be assessed for drug treatment, complete treatment if recommended. Failure to comply could result in eight-month prison sentence.

A Toledo man was sentenced in Fulton County Common Pleas Court, Wednesday, Jan. 10, in connection with a burglary charge:

•Brian Grimes, 34; indicted May 15, 2017, on one count each, burglary, grand theft, theft; entered guilty plea to one count, burglary; on April 10, 2017, knowingly trespassed in an occupied structure with the purpose to commit a criminal offense; sentenced to three years community control; complete SEARCH program through NorthWest Community Corrections Center and aftercare; ordered to have no contact with victim, stay out of bars, taverns, not to possess or consume alcohol, abide by 11 pm to 6 am curfew; show proof of, obtain General Education Diploma, pay prosecution costs; vehicle forfeited to state of Ohio. Failure to comply could result in 24-month prison sentence
