Two Persons Sentenced




Two persons were sentenced recently in Fulton County Common Pleas Court:

•Leslie Polaski, 26, Delta; indicted Jan. 12 on aggravated possession of drugs; entered a guilty plea May 12 to one count, attempted aggravated possession of drugs; on Jan. 2, while she was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over for a traffic violation, she attempted to possess Oxycodone, a prescription painkiller; sentenced to 180 days at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, 173 days suspended, credit for seven days served; placed on one year community control; ordered to pay prosecution costs, stay out of bars or taverns, complete treatment recommendations by Recovery Services of Northwest Ohio; driver license suspended for six months with privileges; failure to comply could result in 180-day prison sentence.

•Daniel Martin, 51, Swanton; indicted Jan. 12 on charges of domestic violence and felonious assault; on Jan. 10, he caused serious physical harm to his wife by choking her and breaking her arm; guilty plea entered on one count, felonious assault; sentenced May 13 to four years in prison.
