Two Men Sentenced

Two men were sentenced recently in Fulton County Common Pleas Court:

•Codi Johnson, 19, rural Fayette; previously pled guilty to two counts of theft from an elderly person or disabled adult, one count theft; between Dec. 27, 2011 and Jan. 18, 2012, stole a tank and chain, gravity wagons, and a manure spreader from several Wauseon persons; sentenced Thursday, July 12, to two years community control; ordered to pay cost of prosecution and attorney fees, $2,481 in restitution, forfeit $882 that was seized from him, seek and maintain employment, complete SEARCH program at Northwest Community Corrections Center, Bowling Green; failure to comply could result in 11- month prison sentence.

•Michael Zalecki, 24, rural Swanton; pled guilty to trafficking in marijuana; on April 1, had marijuana in his possession that was packaged and ready for sale; sentenced Thursday, July 5, to four days at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, credit for four days served; placed on one year community control; ordered to pay cost of prosecution, attorney fees, $250 fine; $620 that was on his person when he was arrested was seized; all contraband forfeited; driver license suspended for 30 days, certain driving privileges granted; ordered to possess no illegal drugs or alcoholic beverages, stay out of bars and-or taverns; failure to comply could result in an 11-month prison sentence.
