Two Men Sentenced

A rural Liberty Center man was sentenced in Fulton County Common Pleas Court, Wednesday, June 28, on a burglary charge:

21; originally

•Jesse Brown, indicted May 16 on two counts, theft, one count, burglary; entered guilty plea in August 2016 to one count, burglary; between March 18-20, 2016, trespassed in an occupied structure; sentenced to 12 months in prison, ordered to pay $321 restitution, cost of prosecution, court-appointed attorney fees.

A Stryker man was sentenced on a drug-related charge in Fulton County Common Pleas Court, Friday, June 30:

•Chris Martin, 44; originally indicted on one count each, operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, possession of cocaine; entered guilty plea to one count, aggravated possession of drugs; on Feb. 17, possessed cocaine; placed on two years community control, ordered to be assessed for drug/alcohol treatment, complete any recommended treatment and all aftercare; driver license suspended for two years, occupational driving privileges granted. Failure to comply could result in an eight-month prison sentence.
