Two Men Given Prison Terms

Two men were recently sentenced to prison terms in Fulton County Common Pleas Court:

Tomas Ramos III, 24, Wauseon; pled guilty to one count possession of heroin; had between one and five grams of heroin in his possession on Oct. 2, 2010; sentenced on Monday, Jan. 31, to one year in prison, driver license suspended for one year.

Jason Borton, 33, Morenci, Mich., pled guilty to one count each, theft and failure to appear on personal recognizance bond; on Nov. 22, 2005, stole an automatic teller machine card; on Oct. 26, 2009, failed to appear for pre-trial conference; sentenced on Friday, Jan. 28, to eight months in prison; ordered to pay $1,416.50 in restitution.


The Heimlich maneuver was introduced by (and named after) Dr. Henry Heimlich in 1974.
