Two persons were treated and released at the Fulton County Health Center following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Co. Rd. L and St. Rt. 66 about 9:54 pm, Thursday, Jan. 6.
Joshua Tyler Borton, 16, rural Fayette, was driving a sport-utility east on Co. Rd. L, while Russell J. Shankster, 46, Hillsdale, Mich., was driving a pickup south on the highway.
The Fulton County Sheriff Department report states Borton was unable to stop for the stop sign at St. Rt. 66. The two vehicles collided.
Borton was transported by ALS-1, the Archbold-based Fulton County paramedic unit, to FCHC. Shankster was transported to FCHC by Fayette Rescue.
Borton was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way.
Antonio Rosales, 70, Fayette, was transported to FCHC after his car collided into a utility pole about 2:08 pm, Friday, Jan. 7.
The FCSD report states Rosales was driving north on St. Rt. 66 when the vehicle went off the right side of the road, drove into a ditch, and then struck the pole.
Fayette rescue transported Rosales to FCHC, where he was treated and released.
The crash occurred about eight-tenths of a mile north of Co. Rd. J.
